Paul – So, how have you been doing lately?

Paul – Great. I just got back from vacation, and it totally rocked. My family and some members of my wife's family camped three nights in the [Smoky Mountains](http://www.nps.gov/grsm/index.htm) outside of Gatlinburg, TN, and then we were joined by some good friends and camped for about a week at [Anastasia State Park](http://www.floridastateparks.org/anastasia/default.asp) in St. Augustine, FL. It was wonderful to get away from everything and spend some quality time with the family.

Paul – So, what other plans do you have for this summer?

Paul – Later this month we plan on spending some time at the Gasconade River with my side of the family. We will be spending some time around the 4th of July in Eminence, MO camping. I will also be attending Steubenville/St. Louis in Springfield, and I plan on playing lots of golf with some of my buddies and my oldest son, Jacob. And, I want to spend some time fishing with my dad.

Paul – Anything else?

Paul – Oh, yeah. I plan at least beginning to write a book. My working title is "Stirring Up the Spirit". It will be a follow-up resource for teens who have attended a Confirmation retreat with the REAP Team.

Paul – Have you read any good books lately?

Paul – I am in the midst of reading ["A Case for Chastity"](http://www.reapteam.org/chastity/case-for-chastity.html) by Heather Gallagher and Peter Vlahutin – an excellent book for both teens and adults! It is really cool to read something written by friends and fellow REAP Team members. I am also reading the Gospel of Luke. And, a book called "Zombie Butts from Uranus" by Andy Griffiths. It was given to me by my friend Paul H. as a gift to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the REAP Team. It is published by Scholastic (the same folks who published the classic "Captain Underpants" books).

Paul – What is your fascination with potty humor?

Paul – I think it is funny. Don't you?

Paul – Of course, we're the same person.

Paul – Oh, yeah. I kinda temporarily forgot. Speaking of funny stuff, what is the best joke you have heard lately?

Paul – This joke about a guy who went hunting. It is totally "guy humor", though. I will email it to anyone who asks. But, anyone who is not a guy might not find it as funny as a guy will. And, if you don't like the same kind of humor that I do, don't even ask!

Paul – Thanks for the interview. Let's do it again soon.

Paul – OK. It was fun.

(if anyone reading this has any questions that they would like Paul to ask himself, just send Paul an email, and we'll see what happens)
