The Closing Mass- Is it open for anyone to go to?

Hey I was just wondering if the closing mass on Sunday at Steubenville was open for the public to come to? I'm fairly certain it is, but I was hoping to go to one this weekend (I just attending the conference last weekend). I thought it would be neat to take the teens that were not able to attend the conference to at least the mass. I know I've seen parents attend the mass before so I figured it was open to the public. I just couldn't find any rules posted about it anywhere.

I just thought I'd say hi and see who else was going to Steubenville St. Louis, week 2. I figured it would be cool get to know some of you before the conference. Personally, I'm from Cape Girardeau, and this will be my second year. I loved my first time there.

Ok so I went to steubenville last year for the first time and have been dieing to go back ever since the bus ride home. Steubenville was probly the best time in my life ever. It completly changed my life.

Hey all, I hope everyone's winter is going well. Not too bad so far(Knock on Wood). I am so excited about this years Steubenville. I most likely will be attending Franciscan in the fall and the Steubeville conference always puts me back on track. I hope that everyone will get a chance to go this year and am so excited about having Steubenville St. Louis/MidAmerica two weekends in a row. This is also a reminder for everyone that registration online starts this Tuesday. I cannot wait to see everyone in Springfield this July. Have a good rest of your winter.

I wasn't a YA at this conference, but I was able to have the opportunity to be able to be one at Steubenville North, which was an even awesomer (I don't think that's a word, but oh well!) experience coming from Missouri to St. Thomas in St. Paul. While I was in Missouri, I kept an eye on all the YA's so I would be able to get a feel for what it would be like for me when I'd be able to do it. The YA's in Missouri were incredible testimones to God's wonderful work. The actions were really fun and the drama put on by Missouri's YAs touched my heart and I was able to perform the chained up struggling girl better then I would have. If any of the YAs from Missouri read this, please reply! I want to know how the week went for you!

God moments

Hey there. Well, I have come to see what my peers think about this conference. Did you have a moment that stood out from others before that you can say, "Hey, God was here with me." This was a topic my youth group talked about at our Sunday's meeting. You can also reply and tell about your God moment, either if it was at the conference, or somewhere else.
My God moment was during the Eucharistic Adoration Saturday evening. I have never been touched that way before. It seemed to me that whenever the light reflected on to me, God like ran right into my chest, making it feel like he just became a bigger part of me. I also have God moments whenever I'm with my friends. I am blest to have friends that I do. It's a really good feeling to be with someone that you know loves you back.

School Packs for Springfield Area

I'm the director of Crosslines in Springfield, Missouri and I would like to thank you for all the effort put into the donation of school supplies at the rally last weekend. This year, Crosslines will be providing supplies to 46 schools in Greene county (a record high for us) and the supplies received put a big dent in the amount we need. I firmly believe children cannot excel in school without the necessary tools to take advantage of the education they are offered. It's our hope that our efforts will ensure every student has the supplies they need for their education.

Praise and Worship

hey I wanted to invite everyone to praise and worship at St. Ferdiand, in Florissant Mo. We have praise and worship the last monday of the month from 8-9pm in the church. If you want to come an hour earlier our youth group meets and hangs out, there is always a lot of good food on this night. I think the coolest thing about that weekend was adoration! Afterwards all the friendly chatter going on amazed me! 2000 kids around my age sharing their love of God with others was awesome! I had to share an experience where God had touched my life at Queen of All Saints vacation Bible school and I share the great time I had at Steubenville! It was the best time of my life and I can not wait for next year!

Life after Steuby

Ok so it's been a week since we got back from Steubenville...and it's like, what do I do now? This year was so different from last year-- don't get me wrong, it was just as amazing and incredible and everything, but I don't have the high that I had after last year. When I came back last year, I was sooooo happy and excited and fired up for God and this year I'm trying to deal with not having that feeling. I think it's God saying, "Ok, now you've got to live for me the hard way-- when you don't have a retreat high as your fuel." Still, though, I'm a little confused. Anybody experiencing anything similar? Peace and love to everyone who was at Steuby! Get 'er done!
