Director of Youth Ministry - Church of the Ascension, Chesterfield, MO
Ascension Catholic Church, the third largest parish in the Archdiocese of St. Louis (3000+ families), is seeking a full-time Director of Youth Ministry to continue a well-established and vibrant ministry including weekly programs, retreats, domestic and international service projects, social and relational activities, and other events. The position includes direct responsibility for high school and junior high ministry in order to bring teenagers to Jesus Christ and the Church, with a secondary responsibility for continuing ministry to college students. It includes coordinating with other parish staff and organizations, especially other organizations for teenagers.
The Director of Youth Ministry must be a practicing Catholic who is passionate for the faith, has a dynamic personality, possesses knowledge of the beliefs and traditions of the Catholic faith, thrives as a self-starter, and lives in accord with the teachings of the Church. An undergraduate degree is required. A degree in theology or related area and prior experience in full-time youth ministry are preferred.
This full-time position requires weekends, evenings, and some travel. Salary is commensurate with education and experience, starting at $33,500 with full benefits. Coordinator of Youth Ministry - Sacred Heart, Valley Park
Sacred Heart Parish, located in Valley Park, MO, is seeking a full time Youth Minister to lead its active youth program. Sacred Heart Parish is the first Life Teen Parish in the Archdiocese and the first to offer Teen ACTS in the Archdiocese. The Youth Minister’s responsibilities will include planning youth group meetings, days of prayer, opportunities for service and social activities for both the middle and high school youth of our parish. This individual will also serve as a liaison for other school and parish activities.
The ideal candidate must be a practicing Catholic and have a degree or be certified in Youth Ministry. The candidate should be trained in Catholic Theology with knowledge of spiritual and personal development of youth. The candidate will be enthusiastic, possess the ability to collaboratively work with the pastoral staff, parents, and other parish organizations and have strong leadership skills.

Coordinator of Youth Ministry - St. Joseph, Imperial

Catechists at Epiphany
Epiphany of Our Lord Parish, a south St. Louis parish of about 800 families is looking for two qualified catechists to lead our new Blue Knights and Little Flower programs that will start in the Fall of 2013 and meet on the first and third Tuesday of the Month. Catechists must be willing to work closely with students and parents.

Catechist will be expected to run a program three Tuesday nights a month (1st-3rd) during the school year.
