Megamissions 2004 USA

> "The Church needs your energies, your enthusiasm, your youthful ideals, in order to make the Gospel of Life penetrate the fabric of society, transforming people's hearts and the structures of society in order to create a civilization of true justice and love. ...Do not be afraid to go out on the streets and into public places, like the first Apostles who preached Christ and the Good News of salvation in the squares of cities, towns and villages."

Pope John Paul II, World Youth Day, Denver, CO 1993

You have the opportunity to answer the Holy Father's call to evangelization by joining Youth for the Third Millennium (YTM) in Atlanta during Holy Week (April 7-11, 2004) to participate in the first annual Megamissions USA. YTM is a national non-profit Catholic organization that trains and provides opportunities for young adults (age 16-30) to be lay missionaries by strengthening their Catholic identity, their baptismal call to evangelize and their commitment to Christ and His Church. During Megamissions, daily activities will include mass, Stations of the Cross, Eucharistic and Marian processions, missionary training sessions, and visits to parishioners' homes asking for prayer intentions and inviting them to return to the sacraments and various Holy Week activities.
