Pray for Holy Vocations

May is always a busy month of transition with much to celebrate! Throughout this month you will see kids starting summer, Graduations, Parties, Ordinations and even some Weddings.  In this time of new beginnings it is always important that we take time to pray for each other and especially for the vocation that God has placed in each of us and the community of the Body of Christ.

What our world needs more than anything is to know and experience the Love of Jesus Christ.  In striving for holiness and seeking God’s Will for our lives we not only find true Joy, but we bring it to others as well!

Please take some time to pray daily. I ask you specifically this month to pray for Holy Vocations. When you see a married couple, a sister, deacon, priest, brother, friend, or even a stranger – pray for their vocation and be thankful for those who have been a great example of Christ to you in your life!

“Each of you has a personal vocation which He has given you for your own joy and sanctity. When a person is conquered by the fire of His gaze, no sacrifice seems too great to follow Him and give Him the best of ourselves. This is what the saints have always done, spreading the light of the Lord ... and transforming the world into a welcoming home for everyone.”
-Pope Benedict XVI
