Project Life

“I wish for my first encyclical to speak of the love which God lavishes upon us and which we in turn must share with others.” How amazing that the first writing from Pope Benedict is on the power of [God’s Love](http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/benedict_xvi/encyclicals/documents/hf_...). Much of the encyclical has to do with our call to share the love of God that we experience through Christian charity. This summer teens from all over the archdiocese will be challenged to be “feet washers”, humble servants, to give of themselves to people in our community and grow in faith through Project Life.

[Project Life](/projectlife) is a weeklong service retreat run by the Office of Youth Ministry. This summer’s dates are June 12-17, and cost $180. If you have any questions about the week please contact Liz Buncher at 633-2503.
