Totus Tuus Missionary Teachers

TOTUS TUUS offers its teachers a tremendous experience and the challenge of spending the Summer sharing the Good News of Christ with each person, each day. TOTUS TUUS teachers have the opportunity to be role models and witnesses to the love they have for their faith.

As a TOTUS TUUS teacher, you commit to traveling in a four-person team and teaching in parishes for seven weeks. Teaching for the summer also includes one week of training in the curriculum and program, which begins the last week of May, and one week of break during the week of the July 4th holiday. For these 9 weeks of service, each team member will receive $2250 paid out equally on a bi-weekly basis.Teams will be trained at the beginning of Summer.

Totus Tuus Teacher Responsibilities

Pray Daily and Frequent the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist
As a Totus Tuus Teacher, each day you will pray the Liturgy of the Hours in the morning, evening and night, pray a daily Rosary and Chaplet of Divine Mercy, attend daily Mass and weekly Adoration.

Sacrifice for Others
By being “Totus Tuus” you will need to put the needs of others before your own, particularly those of the youth that you will encounter this summer.
“The Self lives only by dying, finds its identity and its happiness only be
self-forgetfulness, self-giving, self-sacrifice, and agape love.” –Peter Kreeft

Be a Visible Witness of the Catholic Faith
All those you encounter will look to you as a witness of the Catholic Faith.  This means conducting yourself in thought, word and deed in accord with the Church’s teachings.
