Young Adult Ministry

Young adults, meet Jesus. Jesus, The young adults.
"The eternal Father, in accordance with the utterly gratuitous and mysterious design of his wisdom and goodness, created the whole universe, and chose to raise up men to share in his own divine life- and when they had fallen in Adam, he did not abandon them, but at all times held out to them the means of salvation bestowed in consideration of Christ, the Redeemer..." (Chapter 1: Article 2, Lumen Gentium)
Welcome to the Young Adult Apostolate for the Archdiocese of St. Louis. If you are here you are seeking. If you are seeking, Jesus is pleased (Mt 6: 33)! There are many amazing things going on here in the area. Below you will find a list of groups. If you have any questions, feel free to email Ron Garcia at rongarcia@archstl.org.
Spirit & Truth
"But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in Spirit and Truth, for such the Father seeks to worship him" (Jn 4:23).
We live in a world that doesn't seem to want us to slow down and hang out with God, to really get to know him. Society thrives on constant motion and production as the key to peace. Yet, it doesn't seem that those who live this way are truly happy. Wouldn't it be nice to slow down, spend some time in peace and prayer with your peers? Being engaged by the faith of those who are working hard to live it? Want to meet new people your age who seek the same things?
On April 30th, 2009, Spirit & Truth St. Louis, a group especially for those in their 20's and 30's, will begin meeting weekly at Annunciation Parish in Webster Groves. Every Thursday at 7 p.m. young adults will come together for Prayer/Worship, A talk on the Truth, Adoration, and time to hang out with new friends. Questions or comments please Email or call Ron Garcia at rongarcia@archstl.org or 314-633-2512.

The Catholic Student Center at Washington University
The Catholic student center at Washington University is a house of Catholic formation and a community of hospitality to students of all faiths. The Catholic student center stives - through education, service, and a worshipping community that seeks to know and become Christ - to form students intellectually, morally, socially, and spiritually according to the wisdom of the Catholic Church, so that they become active participants in parish life and moral and spiritual leaders in Church and society for the 21st century.
At the Catholic student center we group young adults with our graduate student ministry, since our primary mission is toward students. Many of our young adults plug into this group along side graduated students and also help support the ministry to graduate and undergraduate students through leadership, time, talent, treasure, and participation.
