Annual Pastoral Assembly Highlights Youth Ministry

Event or Page Image

Every year the Archdiocese of St. Louis hosts leaders from parishes all over the diocese to discuss key issues for our Church today at the Annual Pastoral Assembly. This year the Assembly highlighted youth ministry as a vital part of the New Evangelization.

The message sent was one of dire need but also hope. Our young people are dying for a place to be loved and call home, and our Church has an incredible opportunity to be that place for them.

We have posted here the executive summary and a couple of videos from the event for you to look over or to share with others who may want (or need) to learn more about how youth ministry can help our parishes, our young people, our families, and our world. There are more helpful tools on our resource page as well.

The Archdiocese of St. Louis has accomplished this in many ways, including partnering with scouting organizations and instituting Catholic faith programs to be offered through these programs. We have seen many fruits come from our Catholic Scouting programs. Additionally, the leadership and life skills offered through scouting has been a valuable resource for many of our youth.
