The Office of Vocations and Office of Youth Ministry are teaming up to gather together middle school youth from across the Archdiocese to discover what an adventure with Christ can look like! What the vocation to love can mean! By learning about God and His love for us, we can better know His plan for our lives.
The Summit will take place on Friday November 10th, 2023 from 9:00am-2:00pm. This new, annual, event invites youth, grades 6th-8th, to gather at the Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center for a day of engaging talks, prayer, music, time to interact with men and women religious, and Mass with Archbishop Rozanski.
Things to know before registering:
- There will be assigned seating at the event. Seats will be assigned in order of payments received.
- 2 weeks prior to the event, the following will need to be submitted to melissaboesch@archstl.org:
- Names of all individuals participating in the day (adults & youth)
- Shirt sizes for all individuals attending
- List of individuals who have NOT completed a media release allowing the archdiocese to use their photo
- When registering a group, you will be prompted to accept the following conditions:
- Verify you will submit the above information by October 27th.
- Confirm that you understand it is the responsibility of your own school/parish to verify that all adults attending with your group are safe environment compliant.
- Confirm the school/parish is collecting the appropriate liability forms to attend The Middle School Summit. The OYM will not be collecting individual registrations for this event.
- The OYM requires 1 chaperone for every 10 youth with a minimum of 2 chaperones. If your parish or school requires a smaller ration, that policy takes precedence. There is no limit on how many chaperones you may bring. The cost for chaperones is $15/participant
- Priests are welcome to join free of charge for the day!
- Lunch will NOT be provided for any participants (youth, chaperones, and priests)
