Mental Health of Youth during Covid-19 Pandemic with Kerri Gallen
Today’s show features a presentation by our friend, Kerri Gallen, MSW, LCSW, who works as a school-based therapist at public and parochial schools, serving students in middle and high schools. Kerri is the Coordinator of Trauma and Racial Equity Programs in Saint Louis Counseling, and is an experienced speaker and trainer in the area of trauma and stress-related disorders. She will share what she is hearing from young people within the counseling setting, and give youth workers tips on how to serve young people in the midst of a global pandemic, while preparing for the future. This presentation was shared via a Zoom call with local youth workers in 2020.
